Venaglia

Amber is a versatile performer and entertainer with a variety of talents including singing, dancing, acting and impromptu speaking. She is also one in the world youngest certified game developer. Amber is the daughter of Edward Venaglia, Lead Engineer at Nike and Lyra Venaglia, the President and CEO of Venaglia Payee, Inc. Although she is only 7 years old, she has shown a strong desire to entertain since she was Two Awards Silver Medal, World Championship of Performing Arts, Virtual – Jul 2020. Over 60 countries, hundreds of participants. Finished 2nd in her division Star of the Year, VocalStar, Hollywood, CA – Dec 2019. Invited to be part of this end-of-year event. Received coaching from Grammy Award winning performers and performed in front of dozens of agents and scouts representing the entertainment industry. Honored at the end of the event with the highest award in her division: Star of the Year. Miss Best Kid Model, Beauty for a Cause, Portland, OR – Oct 2019 Experience Actress/Singer “Peppermint Patty”, Journey Theater, Portland, OR – Aug-Nov 2019. Featured as Peppermint Patty in a production of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, received eight weeks of coaching and rehearsals, including a singing part in “Happiness”. Ultimately performed in front of a live audience. Dancer/student, Elevate Dance Academy, Portland, OR – Jan-Jul 2019. Learned and performed two routines, one theater performance and one contemporary performance. Philippine Young Princess, Portland, OR – Jun 2018 - Jun 2019. Represented the Filipino-American community at several events throughout the year with several speaking, dancing and singing opportunities, including televised appearances. Performed Lupang Hinirang, the Philippine national anthem, in a language she does not speak, on several occasions before Filipino natives. Bio Amber is seven years old and is currently in second grade. She is a busy kid who jumps quickly from one activity to the next after school. She does Kumon and is working two years above grade level in both math and reading. She does ballet at The Portland Ballet and singing and dancing at Journey Theater Arts Group. Amber identifies strongly with her Filipino heritage and is happy to represent the Filipino-American Association of Portland throughout her reign as Fil-Am’s Young Philippine Princess 2018. Amber is outgoing and makes friends easily and loves finding new ones wherever she goes. She likes learning new things, reading books and playing outside. Other indoor activities she enjoys include baking, making YouTube videos and taking care of her brother.
